99/11, 2011, pigmentprints framed, various formats
At the beginning of our travels through the US in September 1999, I photographed my girlfriend and I near the twin towers 37 times using a self-timer. I developed the film the same day so we could send the prints out as postcards to our friends.
During this period the negative was created, which is now the center of the installation 99/11. In the picture, one can see the twin towers in the background, while in the foreground I am standing with my arms spread out.
